What is a phantom registry key?
A phantom registry key is invalid information left befind:
- by uninstalled programs,
- by programs that are not completly uninstalled,
- deleted programs
Can I prevent errors?
To a certain extent errors can be prevented. By thurly uninstalling programs, by letting Uninstall Plus scan for leftovers every time you unsinstall a program, by deleting the findings.

Uninstall Plus partialy removes only files and/or folders if these are in use. You should manualy remove any remainings to prevent errors.
